Roll-in dock?

Anyone here have one?
I just bought a house that came with one. All the videos I see online show folks pushing the fully-assembled dock into the lake. Never show them hauling it out--lol.
I'd like to know if it matters whether it goes in assembled, or one-at-a-time and assemble it in the water?
My dock is 80' long and needs to be attached to the shore about 30' over from the low 'ramp' where it rolls in.
