Hi All
Trying to find a replacement for a suspect ignition switch. The motor is on a 2012 Suntracker 20 party barge, bought both new as a package. The ignition switch has 7 wires, 6 are connectorized in a push on rectangular plastic shell, the other is a single wire ending in a bullet connector. Replacement, easy, unsnap connector, pull apart bullet connector, repeat in reverse for new assembly. I have not seen a 7 wire ignition switch. Plenty of 6 wire switches. Motor is not getting solenoid enable voltage. If i disconnect that wire, and apply a 12 volt wire to the pin, the starter engages, and the motor starts. Continuity all the way back to under dash connector. Dash lights dim if you got to start position on ignition switch..
Any body else have a 7 wire ignition? this is as it came from the factory. I will add pictures later, if needed MY engine S/N ICI80468
