Hi - newguy here - I have already learned so much from your forum. My first look was the topic on 'trying' to get the toon back on the trailer at a side current with the wind blowing. Thanks - Next Question - What are your options for lifting the boat to work on guides and slides? Great Forum.

Easiest thing to do is put it in the water somewhere you can leave it for the day , some have even put all the supplies needed cut and ready to go and did them at the boat launch during the week.

ditto on what herb said. Have heard of using jack stand or other lifting methods, but don't think I would want to get my hand near or under the toon while it is up in the air. Even if you had to anchor it near the ramp and swim back to shore (providing you lake isn't frozen solid)

Dont put jacks under the toons unless you can distribute the wt like it is on the existing boards.

might be able to run a 2x12 between the toons and use jacks to place under the boards to raise the toon off the runners

Best way is to to take boat off the trailer of course...
