Have a 2006 30' paty hut and water is leaking into the engine compartment from underneath the right rear of the boat when giving a lot of gas and front lifts up. There is a aluminum skin there that looks like it is supposed to make the water go past the opening for the electronics, but the back pressure when giving it that much gas is too much and water comes in thru that opening.....anyone ever seen this? fixed this? thanks in advance! and merry cristmas!

It's a common problem with Party Cruisers and Party Huts over many years. The fix is to add more underskinning, under the deck as well as the sides. The problem is that water flows over the logs, hits the stern rubrail and splashes up in the engine box. I had the same problem with mine and partial underskinning fixed it, it's actually what first got me to the other forum and then to here.

do you have a little rubber boot that is supposed to protect the thru hull fitting. if so, its probably got a leak in it. tracker fixed it in 07 or 08 if i remember with a much better design. my torn boot caused a lot of damage for the guy that i bought my 05 regency from. i spent a lot of money to fix it and then ended up selling the boat.
