Well everyone thanks for all the thoughts on all my other questions, here is another. What is the best prop for my toon? Should I go to a ss prop or alumium and 3 blade or 4. I know that ss props are more money but from what I have read the last alot longer.

The 'best' prop for your toon would be the one that allows you to reach WOT.
So whatever WOT is for your engine.
Cant reach WOT during full throttle? You need 'less' prop. like going from a 16x15 to a 16x14. For each drop in pitch, youll gain about 200 RPM.
There are pro's and con's to SS vs AL props.
SS will only really do ya any good when you have more then say 150 hp. The reason is an AL prop will 'flex' as an SS prop will not.
Hitting something with an SS prop gives you more of a chance of breaking the lower unit. Al will bend if you hit something more so then SS. There are both AL and SS peeps on here. Im an el cheapo AL guy w/135 hp, but since you have 200 hp, i'd go SS if I were you.
Most seem to go with a 3 blade.
Thats about that...

Walt just about said it all. Sort of trial and error but 17 to 19p would be a good starting point. Check out the enertia, most people that have them love them. It's a merc prop but you can get the hub kit for yours. If you do try the enertia I would go with the 19p to start.

Thanks for the info guys I cant get over how much I love this site. You all have helped me so much I dont know how to repay you. I own my own specialty meat shop so if you need any help on planning a special dinner or super I can give you some good tips on what cuts are best and where you can save on cheaper cuts that taste every bit as good as the prime ones(if cooked right)
