Hey Ed could you sticky this fer me please?

I have been thinking for a few months now that the midwest should have thier own forum bash this year.

from what Ive heard the PDB one was a blast last year.

now I'll be upfront, I dont have the budget to throw a huge party like that but It doesnt mean we can have a blast anyway.

I was thinking of a location such as Captains Galley on the 1mm of the niangua since its pretty central on the lake and they just got new docks and a floating bar.

I was rolling around sometime in June depending on what everyones plans are so I though I'd get the Dialogue going and see what we can come up with. I know of a couple bands Ive played with in the past from the blues society who may be interested in playing. all in all, lets just see what we can get going

I don't see an option for me to make posts sticky, maybe I'm missing something or only Mike has the permission settings to do so

Sounds like something Betty and I would enjoy. I wouldn't bring the toon but would get room near and visit.

We will be down at the lake June 24-28th, so if sometime in that time frame works, we will be there. Staying at Heron Bay, in Osage Beach. Captains Galley, perfect. Thats where I proposed to Denise during a Poker Run awards ceremony. Another trip down in August, not sure when exactly. Keep me posted Brandon!

I was kinda thinkin around a late june time frame.

the water is a comfortable temp by then and the weather seems to be a bit more stable.

I might be able to make this too, but I don't know about the location. I would have to pull all the way out of my cove for that...long haul.

great! seems like the party is tallying up nicely. I know a couple vees and decks around the area who are interested also. feel free to add any thoughts or ideas to the cause. I was thinking the weekend of the 24th/25th. If there any other dates in mind let me know. we'll try to get as many tooners as possible

Keep us informed when dates get firm. Typically, we're down the first full week of every month, but the Bosslady has been known to change her mind/schedule.

seeing as how I am working thursday - monday till november, the party will most likely be on a week day or late afternoon on a weekend.

while Its unlikely it will be as planned earlier, I still hope to get some kind of get together going.
