Storage in Center Tube Blues

Inside the center tube are a pair of flat synthetic boards that ride in some aluminum struts for support. The struts work loose from the adhesive that binds them to the inner walls of the tubes. This causes the boards to shift and knock the crap out of the bilge pump at the rear. What type of adhesive would you guys recommend to fix this irritating problem? The original looks like hot glue???

i'd probably try a hi-end construction adhesive, just the better tube from home creepo.
clean the aluminum with a good strong chemical first.
actually i'd have my buddy weld them on, but that's a different story.

I agree, liquid nails would do the trick... Gorilla glue works great too but it makes a heck or a mess!

Thanks for the replies. I contacted Leech Products on the f26. I tried epoxy but it did not hold even after cleaning the aluminum.
