Almost ready to buy.. Longer boat or more motor?

I thought I was all set to buy but now I am having second thoughts.
The 2 boats in question are a
1. 2005 Bentley 24 foot cruiser with a mercury 60HP $13,000 with trailer
Or
2. 2005 Harris Kayot Classic 22 with 115hp Yamaha and trailer 14,000
I think the Harris is a little nice condition and has fewer hours.
What would you do longer boat or bigger motor?

Are they both two logs? What size logs?
I think you would be really happy with the 22' with the 115!

It does depend on how you plan to use it. Personally I would go with the 2005 Harris Kayot Classic 22 with 115hp.

Given a choice between the two. I think I would go with the Harris. Price on the Bentley looks a little high. Here is a new bentley with a 50 for less money.

Furniture layout and how you plan to use would be more important than how long it is I think. We ended up with a 22' that we like better than most 24' we seen used because it had two couches up front, yet had room enough outside the rail to add two fishing chairs. If all else being the same, I would go with the 22' with 115hp. But thats because we have a large lake to cover and I want to pull kneeboards and possibly lightweight skiers. A lot depends on how you plan to use it I would think. If you have no need for speed, the 24 foot might be best, but I think that 22 foot should scoot around better.
Also, look to see where that extra 2 feet is. If it is just more dead space, why bother? Can it really seat more than the 22 foot?
Good luck with your decision.

Go with he Harris fur sure. The bently is a true 24' boat meaning that LOA (lenght over all) is 24'. In other words the lenght of the pontoons are 24' but the deck will be shorter by about a foot more or less.
The Harris on the other hand is a 22 footer but the LOA is 23' meaning that the pontoons are actually 23'. So you're really only looking at a one foot difference. That combined with the extra horsepower makes the Harris a slam dunk in my opinion.
