when did suntracker start foam filling the toons. I am looking at a 93 sun tracker and am wondering if the toons are filled

Not sure if they are foam filled but if you tap on the wall with something like a wad of keys should be able to tell, mine really echo, might be the larger tubes. Don't remember the old toon being that loud or hollow sounding.

I think it was mainly the U shaped logs that were foam filled. I had an 89 tracker that did not have any foam.

If there is fom it was put in by someone besides tracker. They only use air chambers

U shaped logs are like the ones G3 uses.

There more like canoes with a deck on them, open top, the foam stopped them from sinking, we have trapped air in many chambers

My 2000 suntracker does not have foam.

Would it be advisable to add foam if they ever leak?

Just get the leak welded, our pontoon use trapped air to stop a pontoon from sinking even if you punch a big hole in it.
