Mold on Bimini

#1 Post by JC7274 » Mon May 24, 2010 7:24 am

Hey Everybody, I was at the lake this weekend and notice my bimini top has mold along the edges. Any suggestions on how to remove? I've tried power washing and scrubbing.

I would try an uppolstry cleaner. This way, you know it shouldn't fade or discolor the bimini, and it will do more with chemicals than just a powerwasher could do.

Go to home depot and get some Jo-Max kills mildew, just mix it with bleach, I used it on my carpet too and it didn't discolor or bleach out anything.

But if you just want to use the jo-max alone it will kill the algae and mold you just have to clean it off with something else.
