How much pressure are you suppose to have in trailer tires it looks like it says 80 pounds is that right? my trailer is single axel and has the smaller wider tires.

I have load range E tires and they call for 90 psi. Run the pressure at max so there is very little side wall flex. That will keep them from over heating on long trips.

Check the # of plys, an cross reference with the tires on here http://www.easternmarine.com/12-and-13- ... -Tire-Rim/
Dang tires today are so hard to find the pressure on the sidewall. Sometimes it is in the little small writing. I was checking my tires a couple of years ago an it had two pressures, think it was 44 an something like 70. Never seen that before so, I split the diff an went about 55. The tires sidewall seperated on one. I am sure due to the psi. Found this that I made up right after that happened

Came up with as a rule of thumb BIAS PLY take 11.5psi times the number of ply's and radials are about 8.25psi times the number of ply's
BIAS PLY
RADIAL
PLY LOAD RATING PSI PSI PER PLY
8 1220 65 8.12
6 1360 50 8.33
6 1480 50 8.33
10 3500 90 9
10 3600 80 8

RADIAL
PLY Load rating PSI PSI per PLY
4 620 45 11.25
6 785 70 11.66
8 910 90 11.50

These were the numbers I came up with (average) from the tires on that site. Didn't know I had saved it.
Well the columns got screw up in the transmittal but guess you can figure it out
