Yamaha 85 HP Engine

I ahve a Yamaha 85 horse engine its a 1991 Im having the carbs rebuilt now its a 3 cylinder. Does anyone else have one or has anyone used yamaha engines? Are they reliable? Do they get good gas?

I've never owned a Yamaha personally but I have a good friend who has one for years (90hp) and he's had no trouble with his.
As far as gas goes you could probably figure using about 7.5 gph @ cruise speed and 9.5 gph @ WOT.
