CANAL DAYS

#1 Post by big daddy » Tue Jun 29, 2010 7:16 am

WOW!!!!!!

Pictures are great but you gotta be there in person to see the reality of it all!!!!

Countless hours of prep time
Five hour drive(left at 3am Fri)
45 minute boat ride to canal
Greeted with open arms by people I never met
$325 round trip for deisel
$225 food and alcohol
$33 gas in boat
Pounding headache and upset stomach
Much longer and slower drive home
Suffering for what is now 48 plus hours of said above body conditions

ABSOLUTLY PRICELESS

I gotta tell you guys that was one of the best times I have ever had on the water yet even with a group of people I have never met. Everyone here should HAVE to experience Canal Days at least once. I'm still not to sure as to the relationship between Ed and all of the people around us but I have to say that Ed and his wife Cheryl are two of the most HOSPITABLE, down to earth, laid back people that I have ever had the pleasure of being around! I can't tell you two Thank You enough for being so generous with your boat and amenities.

Ed tell Ferg that he owes Shawn $2 U.S. American, he lost the bet fare and square, and let Cherly know that I will be checking into finding out my blood type for next year(just in case)

But seriously THANKS again you and Cheryl are now friends for life and tell all that you talk to that I said HI.

And keep an I on Shawn he has got to be the craziest s.o.b. I have ever met!

Well Ed mentioned that the guy tied up beside him (Jim) was from a site but not sure if he ment here or somewhere else. Real nice guy I have to say with a real cute sexy as hell wife!
Hell didn't see any ugly women or a set of tits I didn't like!
Well there was one pair a couple of boats down, we'll have to wait and see if Ed posts them, each one was as big as my head and her body was as big as a barge bouy.

Brian, first of all thanks. You're welcome to raft up with us anytime. Everyone was in agreement that you are always welcome. Most of the people we raft up with have been going with us for many years and all are laid back, and comfortable with what goes on on my boat (lol)...even the x-rated shit.

Jim is from that other site (PDB, username "lightpants") , don't know if he still posts there. He's not a forum junky like some of us are. :lol3 Kelly is his girlfriend. We raft up several times a year on the upper Chesapeake with them.

Ferg can drink anyone under the table. He got there loaded, drank all night and still was able to stand upright without falling off my upper deck like Meg did (lol). We have known them for years, he was born and raised in Chesapeake City.

Sean is always fun, witnessing him fall 5-6 times off the boat last year was funny as shit.

Then there was Christina...lol. She has a habit of ripping clothes off of women that won't flash. All I had to say was, "go get her, I wanna see her titties", and she would jump on them and off came the top (and sometimes bottoms) :rofl :rofl :rofl

You are correct sir, we are friends for life :thumbsup

II have to say that Ed and his wife Cheryl are two of the most HOSPITABLE, down to earth, laid back people that I have ever had the pleasure of being around!

Hey Brian, Ed told me you wrote such a nice compliment I have to thank you. LOL at the blood type. Wonder what ever happened to that guy?
You were one of the nicest co-boaters, you brought all your own stuff, tended bar, :drink2 let us use your diving board and you had great music, and it was your first year at Canal Day. We know some that have been there years that are not that prepared! lol, actually most of our other raft up buddies are cool, Drew and Lisa, Sandy and Joe, Molly and Chris, Missy and Jeff, Jeff and Christie (they were in back row this year, they came late) and Jim are all great to hang out with. We had some new guests this year and some old friends. Sean is my brother in law and he's always wild. Meg and Ferg are so fun and Christina and Kelli are new to the group but they sure made things lively!
I hope you and your wife can go next year.
Thanks for bringing the Banana Cabana! So did you get any offers on it? I'm sure you got a few after Sean's addition to your sign. Hahaha.`

Oh we had a blender this year and so did Brian. He was mixing up margarita's and I don't know what all.
