If an ad says "aluminum hull", does this mean it has an aluminum floor, too, or just the toons and frame?

Are there any specific mfgs. who have aluminum floors?

When it says Aluminum Hull, they mean the pontoons, if you're talking about a pontoon boat. The hull, is the part that actually touches the water. From what I have seen, most pontoons have wood flooring with aluminum bracing or trusses. I do know that ALL Beachcomber pontoons have aluminum floring, and fiberglass seats. No wood on the boat. Good luck finding one though as they went out of business back in 2007 when the economy went south.

That's cool. Wonder what this will do to the values of the used ones then?

Some toon makers have aluminum construction as an option.. My toon was built with aluminum decking and full underskin... Perhaps aluminum was much cheaper in 1998??
