I had a gouge in ours like that and 2 years later it cracked. The nose takes the brunt of waves and wakes so IMO make them replace or extend the warranty

So I got off the phone with the dealer on several issues that have arisen with the boat. With the dent/scratch I used that same argument with the dealer and he kept saying we aren't talking about a car we're talking about a boat. I asked him if he would be happy getting a dent and scratch in a new car and he wouldn't answer the question.ezrollin wrote:The scratch doesn't look like much but I would be asking for a discount, you wouldn't accept a new car with a scratch like that would you?

Bet you can't wait to get her wet.
I would love to get her in the lake though...

Yep I agree. I will be contacting the manufacturer. I love the boat, but the first dealer I dealt with has a lot to be desired and its turning out this second one isn't much better.thebiminibuddy wrote:rrhodes wrote:Your warranty covers manufacturer defects Nd not damage so he is just avoiding fixing it. I agree with this line of action. Nothing to lose by contacting them, everything to gain and you will have it documented.
