I'll agree, you want as much bite as possible in the water. Kind of like tire width... in essence.
That being said, I run a 13.25" dia, and prob should get a 14' dia.

So what do you think? I'm seeing two different thoughts here...go big dia. first, or go 15p and adjust dia....I still haven't picked up the 12.25. He also has a 15px13.5, and a 15x15...

I doubt the 15" would have clearance, I would go with the 13.5" x 15p that is pretty standard.

Yep, you're right. I did some measuring and no way it would fit on the ol Johnson. Looks like I MIGHT be able to fit a 13.75 but the motor has a whale tale and the bolts would be subject. Guess I'll see if he still has the 13.5. Thanks every one!
