ok, so last sunday I'm at the launch waiting for my turn to put my boat in... there's a young guy ( they're all young to me ) with a little john boat and he's trying to unload his boat and handle 3 kids, one of them being an infant, so I offer to help him get his boat in the water... while I'm helping, he see's my pontoon and he asks me if I'm happy with my bennington.. we start chit chatting and he says he asked me about my boat because he and his brother just bought a bennington with a 115 yamaha... told me he bought it at bass pro shops and they're supposed to pick it up next week. I asked him if he was sure it was a bennington and he says yes...well I didn't want to disagree with the guy since he seemed like he knew what he was talking about but I"ve never seen a benny at bass pro... I checked their web site and didn't see any benny's there either.. have any of you heard that BP is selling bennington. I don't really know how all that works, but it seems it would be counter productive to sell a competitors brand.. I wonder if maybe that guy and his brother bought a used bennington that somebody traded in...and now that I think of it, I don't think bass pro takes trade in's do they.. but I could be wrong on that..

They must take trade in's. The BP near me has used boats of various brands for sale.

I've never seen any used boats in my trips to Bass Pro Shops in Maryland (Hanover). They do sell Mako and other brands new though. When you click on "pre owned" on their site, you get a blank page. I guess some do take trades...

The two bass pro shops in the Kansas City area have a lot of used boats in the spring time for sale, all of which are from trades. The original store in Springfield normally has several as well. They tend to thin out during the summer.
