What u have works great when there is no wind. I had the same set up. Problem I hadwas when there was wind. The the front of the toon would cross the trailer. The 4 c fixed all of that. I have sinepce loaded my toon in wind up to 15 knots blowing without any problem.

This is similar to the 4c system but wouldn't work for a trytoon. I will go with OK Toon's suggestion and add the horizontal bunks, that will prevent being sideways over the trailer if it is windy.

The 4C innovation set up looks like a good one, but I haven't really found any need for it... The first year I had my boat I had nothing but trouble getting the boat on the trailer... Part of the problem was just learning how to do it, but I also added these pvc trailer guides to the back end of the trailer.... I just line up the right side of the boat about 4 inches inside the right trailer guide and she glides right on... works for me...

I think this set up will fall foul of width regulations as it's over the 8ft 6in limit now.
For a quick trip to the boat ramp it's probably not an issue but a longer trip may draw the attention of an over zealous officer.

I want to ask what other guide system everybody uses to load the pontoon back up. I had problems on my second outing getting straight on due to wind from the side and being new to owning a pontoon. Just checking if there are additional options to the 4C system. I own the Lowe SL 210 with try-toons. The only guide I have currently is a straight up post with carpet about half way in the middle of the trailer to guide the outer logs from the inside. I would like to have something in addition more towards the end of the trailer to prevent being sideways already half way up over the trailer. Hope my discription makes sense to understand.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

A quick fix would be to install 2 sets of posts (1 towards the front and 1 towards the rear of the trailer) about 6" in from the inside of your outer toons. Then install 2x4 boards (untreated) connected from the front post to the rear post (on the side facing toward the outer toons) -- cover those with carpet. These will keep the boat from getting over too far either direction on the trailer. The center toon should not hit either set of posts since the outer toon on the opposite side would hit the guide first.

Here's a sketch of what I'm talking about
- the blue lines are the trailer frame and cross bars
- the red dots are the guide posts
- the green lines are the guide boards

This was the solution, I tried it now a couple of times and had no problem. Easy to do and budget friendly.

I had the posts made by a friend since it was hard to find the right height I wanted. The boards were attached with galvanized lag screws but I will change this to through bolts. The lag screws came loose after a while.
