Berkshire - audio 'pop' when turning master off

New to pontoons (but not boats)

2019 Berkshire 23 RFS DC STS (with the wind screen and 12" touch screen)

If I turn on the master - wait 30 seconds or so - then turn the master power switch off - I hear a loud POP -

I've been told there are other Berkshire owners who have the same issue...

Any solutions out there?

I have a meeting room system that I use at work that pops that way when turned Off - but not On. It has done it for years and isn't that bad. Does it have the potential to cause problems? Likely depends on the cause and severity.

A quick look found this article: https://caraudioadvice.com/how-to-fix-a ... n-off-pop/ It names a couple of different possible causes, and finding/fixing.

Maybe it will provide some small amount of insight for you.

I think it comes from the output to the speakers still being "active" when the amp powers down. Normally the output should be shut off (speakers disconnected) within the amplifier, then amp powers down. Something is not staying charged enough within the amp to let it do this, or it's just a poor design.

They may have it wired so when you shut it off, what is actually being turned off is the main power to the amplifier instead of the "remote" line that should switch the amp off and on. Normally an amp or audio system always has power on it and the remote simply switches everything off an on in a controlled fashion rather than just killing the mains.
