Very interesting: Luxury pontoon but compare to Sun Tracker. After reading warranties, I would be afraid to buy. Why have a web site when many elements are not available. Yes I agree, Smoke and Mirrors!

I recently bought a 2007 24' Odyssey Tri-toon, my first. The engine is a Suzuki DF140. Now I hear great things about the engine however I can't find info on the boat. The model is a 222C DLX and whenever I google it I get redirected to South Bay's website. Did they buy out Odyssey? Does any one know anything about these boats such as what to look for or design flaws? Any help would be appreciated. :bowdown

They have 5 or 6 winterizing specials the difference between the cheap on and the one costing $80.00 more is they change the lower unit grease. That is a lot of money to change the lower unit grease.

It this was my place I would have charges for winterizing from what I did to the boat. Like up to 4 cyl, both 2cycle's and then for 4 cycles. and then 6cyl up, 2 cycles and then 4 cycles. But they would not leave out any service that should be done.

Why would they call it winterizing and not change the lower unit grease? This is not a service it's a rip-off another buyer beware.

"greezzmunkei"

The reason that you can't find anything on your boat is that your the only one who cares. I have never read any publication or article about boats problems. Most all of the boating mags have advertising and that eliminates all the negitave press on a boat due to loss of ad money. This was true on our old hang out there boat write ups were word for word copies of press relieses from the manufacture. Boats change some every year and then they write about the new model. They don't even have a owners manual for the boat, just the motor, radio, any extras you have installed. You have to dig to get to the nuts and bolts of your boat. Either before you buy it or after. There is not a lot of engineering going into a toon as they already know how and they just built them.

I bought a Sucruiser (now Lowe) SS210 new in 2011. I was wondering if anyone knows much about them, or if they are pron to any problems. I am just curious what to look out for. Mine does not have anything wrong with it at the moment. Just wondering if anyone has heard anything bad or good for that matter about them?
