Hi All,
I thought I would ask from the pro's instead of from a dealer. I am getting alot of different opinions on the subject.
I'm looking to buy a sweetwater 2186 pontoon next year. It's rated for a 115 hp or 135 with the tritoon. I would like to be able to wake board as well as pull the kids on tubes. My question is what HP is recommended to have enough to accomplish this. The boat is approx. 1500 lbs dry with a 24 gallon tank. Also, am I able to carry passengers while doing this and how many?

We have a 22 fter with 115 opti max with 14x13 pontoon cupped prop it is awsome, and yes wake boarding does work use a shorter rope, but yes not a bog wake but if the kids are beginners or smaller it is perfect
and yes four skiers not a problem
