Hi everyone. I've been reading the forums here for a little while but I'm a fairly new posting member from Lake Tarpon Florida, and im in the middle of rebuilding a fiesta 18 party barge....
While attempting to document this rebuild over on pontoon stuff website I manged to upset one of the admins by using profanity...I said "my neighbors kick ass"(oops sorry I did it again)....this got me yet another stern letter from said admin which was enough for me to delete the thread and move on....
This project started as a "simple recarpet" and has no doubt gone to a whole new level....
I stripped the boat thinking I had 1 rotten section of the floor which of course was not the case. I also got lucky enough to have a neighbor with an older Lowe for sale that let me trade the fencing since the fiesta had no side door and the Lowe did....All the lowe needed was some paint which at the time I figured would be a weekend job....ha!! Not so much. Needless to say Ive been painting for a while and the wife is about to shoot me for the overspray situation.
I stripped the console, wetsanded , buffed and installed all new guages and hardware....also installed the new control setup. I also put a carbon fiber decal in the dash area behind all the guages which I like but I learned never use cheap decals from autozone....I'll be replacing this soon.

I didnt think this would be so involved so I never bothered to take any before pictures but I was able to find a pic of the same boat as mine but in better shape-

Old Wildcat must have Shit when you said Kicks Ass. They are a bunch of assholes who if you don't agree with what ever they say they want you gone. WCD has his head so far up Jim from Pontoon Stuff's ass he does not know what the hell is going on. Welcome aboard we are just a bunch of degenerates here. The toon looks great.

Ghost what have I done to warrant the asshole remark? I am one of the moderators over there and I don't believe I have ever done anything out of line. If I have would you please post in detail what it was. I also don't understand the remark about Wildcat having his head up Jim's Ass. Why would he do that since Jim is not involved with the site anymore. I love how some people love to run their mouth and have no idea what they are talking about. Nobody asked anyone to leave, profanity no matter how you say it is not allowed on that site. The word in question may be mild to some and not to others, by eliminating all of it any confusion regarding interpretation is moot.

Come on you know that Widcat uses every Opertunity to push Pontoon Stuff. Also If you ever disagree with him about anything he gets all worked up. I just got sick of reading about all his little aches and pains and how much he loves the Scuba Diver and his wife in the wheel chair. Any thing that he suggests is the best and you better not have another idea because you are wrong. I left on my own and am happy I did, I love it here, These are just regular guys talking like regular guys.

Business lost for them? What business have you done? Herb: Since you want to chime in with petty insults.....FUCK YOU AND EVERYTHING ABOUT YOU....BLAME THAT ON MEXICANS HERB....RANT AND RAVE ABOUT ILLEGAL ALIENS TAKING YOUR WORK....I HOPE THEY DRIVE YOU OUT ON THE STREET....YOU CAN'T SEEM TO COMPETE AND WANT TO BLAME EVERYONE BUT HERB....LOOK IN THE MIRROR DUMBASS, THAT'S THE SOURCE OF ALL YOUR WOES. :fyou Ghost, of course he pushes their merchandise, they are the ones running the site. I don't think it would make much sense to start a discussion forum to sell someone else's product. HERB...FUCK YOUR TRUCK TOO....ITS JUST A TRUCK....GET OVER IT. :fyou Wow!!! I feel better now.

It is business lost for them because I've got an entire interior to buy for this boat....along with carpet and wood (which was ordered yesterday) and hundreds if not thousands of dollars on other odds ends for this project of mine.....quite frankly if they're doing so good in this economy that they can lose business because of some jackass forum admin on a powertrip thats fine with me...all I know is I dam sure wont be spending a dime there.
