Nice looking fish.
We used to fish on the Churchill River at a place called Drinking Falls Lodge. Only way to get there was either fly-in from La Ronge or by boat. I found out after the first shore lunch that Walleye tasted a whole lot different and better than Northern Pike.
That and a LaBatts or similar and we were in hog heaven.

Did you fish the river from the lake up to Nipawin as well, we have had some great fishing there in late September.
Caught some nice ones there over the years

We caught all our big pike on the big lake,got a little rough a few times.This year we are going to go up the river a bit and see what we can get.
