Still no name(Now named "Sunburn")
I'm deleting my old rebuild post and putting it up in here, I didn't have much to begin with The previous owners had dubbed her "Pretty Shitty"...I could tell why, I ended up pretty much paying for a motor and getting free logs/frame. Just about everything else was scrap.
Only took a couple hours to get it stripped down to the rotten plywood by myself
The trailer didn't have consistant support on both sides, so it was pretty obvious it wasn't sitting level once I got the new marine plywood on. That was fixed REAL quick.
The new carpet looked great, and so far the carpet wrapped around the edge still looks great after taking it out a few times. Still looking into a few corner caps in the meantime.
My oldest helped me put up the trim strip
I had to reuse the older frankenstein'd rear seats, ran out of money and time(Wife had a mandated day it had to be ready to go out on the lake
Just about got her in shape
Back deck got extended two and a half feet above each log, starboard side fit the battery and new 18 gallon gas tank almost perfectly(will have pics of that once it's out of storage)
And the oldest had a blast, last day of the year the water was warm enough for us to get in!

Can't wait to get her out of storage and get back to work.
Cleaning and polishing the logs, finishing up the wiring, working on putting together the Outdoor Bean Bag Chairs/lounges, adding the new ladder, speakers, prop, rebuilding the carbs...
winter sucks

You mean those front loungers?lakerunner wrote:Looks great, are those office chair bases?
Don't know what they come from, but they're not in the least bit sturdy. They aren't going back on, took up too much room for very little function. Would have needed new vinyl on them soon anyway.

I found them on eBay, but dealt with the guy outside of. He had other sizes and colors( red and black I believe.) I can see if I still have his contact info if you'd like. He sold Marine Plywood as wellMrtoler wrote:The new rails really set it off! Mind sharing where they came from?

Lets see, your old name was ( Pertty Shitty ), so now maybe it should be ( Pertty Nice ) You did a great job on your rebuild.

I was thinking Money Pit....but it's still a sore subject with the wife, and will be until she gets to go out on it without any engine issues
