55 gallons...

I try to not let it get much below half, as it hurts to fill it from empty !

I was a bit concerned about the fuel in my boat.... Filled it up in January of "last year"...yes, January of 2013..... didn't use the boat all that much last season - still had over half a tank left when I topped it off this past spring.... still though it fired right up and ran great when I took her out two weeks ago.... of course all that fuel was treated with a top notch stabilizer and of course the fuel is ethanol free..... I hope to use it all up this summer.

WOW, never heard of that law. I know TSC down the road sells 14 gallon tanks. Maybe a STATE law?

wondering that as well, my 22 gallon is "technically" a portable since its red and has a vented screw on cap. Also might take it to the UP of MI some day so the "6 gallon portable" limit has me wondering.

I've been noticing signs on pumps lately warning it's illegal to fill a portable container larger that 6 gallons. Don't know if it's state or federal.
I was thinking of buying one of those roll-around gas caddies to use on the dock but to have to fill IT with 6G cans kinda defeats the purpose :donno

Similar to others I had 2 6.5 gal portables but I put in a 20 gallon tank 2 seasons ago and added a fuel gauge to it this season.

I wonder if I need to take an extra tank if I want to run the river all day. Six gallons does not seem like a lot.
I have the boat in a wet slip at the beaumont yacht club and they sell gas there.

34 gallon tank. "Beaumont"???? Texas????
