Registration Numbers

#1 Post by Tim in Michigan » Tue Oct 27, 2015 1:05 pm

Hello everyone.
I am new to this site and glad to have found it. Looks like there is lots of good pontoon / boating information available.
This is my first post and i thought i would share a picture of some really nice chrome registration numbers, and yearly tag frame (about 1/4 inch thick, and much nicer than the paper thin ones the dealer included) that i put on our new Bennington 2375 GCW. I found these on Amazon. Not sure if it is appropriate post the name of the seller, so let me know if it is OK to do so. Thanks

Yep, they look cool and nice, but the USCG may question them :donno The registration numbers are to be in a contrast color. Companys make a lot of fancy letters and styles, some in flames. They are not within regulation, but they look cool.

I was wondering that myself, but they do look good!

If you get hassles... just lower them to the maroon area...

Total of 16 letters and numbers (both sides) and 2 yearly tag frames were $133.00. that included shipping. You tell the company your registration sequence and that sequence comes spaced and mounted between two sheets of sticky film. Simply remove the film from the adhesive side and the other film holds them in place for level installation.
The company is called "3D lettering" and is on Amazon. You'll see them. They have many styles, fonts, and colors, but these only come in chrome.
You will see my boat in the reviews. (looks like i was the first to submit a review). I called the company direct to order, and the owner took my order over the phone. Very helpful. They shipped the same day and were here from California in 4 days. I just updated the photo in my first post making it a little larger, for a closer look.

I'm with PlaynDoc here...

You'd triple your bling factor with all that in the maroon zone. But then, that's why they make chocolate and vanilla.
Nice upgrade!

I ordered chrome numbers that matched the Harris font (also in chrome). As for visability, contrast between colors is what counts.
