Re: on board charger
I have never seen that but my first thought is salt. You boat in saltwater?
My second thought would be that you're getting some deposits from the degassing of your batteries as they charge. I know those batteries can expulse hydrogen gas among other things. If you are charging multiple batteries in tight quarters with no venting, it doesn't seem out of the realm of possibility that you would see some residue on your charger.

I was wondering where the corrosion or oxidation is forming.

Re: on board charger
Here is what I would do if I were you.
1) Check the fluid in your batteries. Make sure your charger isn't "boiling" your batteries.
2) Clean your charger off and go a week or two where you charge with your battery hatch open to allow ventilation to see if that white stuff comes back.
Also, do you see any of the residue on the other surfaces in your battery compartment?
