I saw someone do one on this site about the time I joined I am sure, it was mounted under the floor and had a remote control
I plan to do similar on mine
Of course easiest would be to just mount one on front and flip it down when you get ready to dock and stuff

The really too of The line trolling motors have a remote control so you can control it from anywhere in the boat. And some have GPS where you can reverse the route you just took--if you were fishing.

I put a 50 lb. Minn Kota manual steer on the front of my old Kayot. On speed #5 it will move me along at just over 3 mph. On low it pulls me along at between 1- 1.25 in calm conditions...it works great at keeping me positioned for shore casting.
