A new tri-toon has shown up on my little lake and has a unique feature I've never seen before:

Re: Heard of Easy Cover?
It's a full-length canopy that drops to cover the top of the fence to keep out the elements. In use it will open stacked to cover only the rear, or fully to cover the entire boat. Operates electrically, by remote.
Small website, small distribution, Michigan company.
LOVE the idea but I'm sure I'll HATE the price

Re: Heard of Easy Cover?
That would make my life much easier....however, unless it can remain tight as a drum it does not appear to have enough slope to prevent puddles and would most likely stretch like hell????
I am the guy at the boat ramp that gives you dirty looks when you are a complete idiot and too stupid to know it.
Re: Heard of Easy Cover?
I really like the idea of not messing around with a mooring cover. My boat is at a cottage & sits on the water all season and is covered while I'm away. Every time I go to uncover it's soaked with dew and the seats are also soaked due to lack of ventilation. My previous 'toon didn't have nice seats so it didn't get covered all summer. The carpet & plywood lasted forever because it could dry quickly.
I like the idea of a covered boat lift where the pontoon is up IN the canopy, or this double bimini that squats over the rails. Both seal out rain while allowing air to flow through. Probably cost about the same.

Re: Heard of Easy Cover?
The only hiccup I could see is that it doesn't look like there's any way to collapse the bimini entirely. That might be fine for you southern guys but up north wind can be a more serious challenge than sun when out on the water. Other than that it's an awesome idea!
