Hey guys I am Jared and I am new to this site and new to owning a pontoon I bought a fixer upper that has proved to be more than I thought lol back in Febuary. But I should be good to go with it finally this weekend barring no major upsets.

I will probably get my chops busted on this, and normally I ignore cussing and stuff. But goodness can't we turn the word filter on for a few words? Do we really need that kind of language to ask for pictures, which I agree would be neat..

If you are like me 'I can probably do that in a couple of hours an turns into a week project." If I was a contractor I would go bankrupt with my estimates. Anyway, when you get on the water enjoy, it will be worth it

It is a 87 Lowe 24 footer it has a 91 yamaha 85 horse engine. I have had it reupholsterd carpet was good and I am having a new waterpump put on it today as after I got it to the water found out wasnt working. Ill get some pics up pre and post upholstry soon.

Also I need to come up with guages, is there anyone that sells fake ones? I dont care if they work I just want to fill a couple of holes.

Newlights,

depending on what you want this whole set is pretty cheap. I would recommend at least an rpm gauge and altmeter. You want the tach to make sure you are running in the recommended range for your motor.
