pretty quick was that speedo or gps speed? Those suntrackers never stop amazing me.

It was on GPS. Boat does not even have an on-board speedo.
This was the first time I have had it out and I do think it still has a little more in on the OE prop if I play with the trim..

With GPS I noted that I had mine up to 24MPH with 4 onboard and pulling one on a tube. I was pretty satisfied with that. Of course mine doesn't have the strakes.

Congrats and great looking boat. But your bimini boot is on upside down.

did u get this at BP? was it a trade-in? Do you happen to know what size of prop it has?

It was purchased at a Marinemax dealer.
Well I got to drive it quite a bit more tonight. I manged 32mph (GPS) with the bimini up and 36 bimini down with two adults and two kids. The OE aluminum prop is 13.75" x 15 pitch. It also seems to be very easy on the gas which is a big plus. You can clearly tell when the boat gets up on plane around 23MPH and it really cruises nicely at 25MPH. You can also clearly tell when it falls off of plane when you hit big wakes.

Noted that you have a 4 stroke, mine is a 2 stroke, will that same size prop work just as well on my 2 as it does on your 4?

Sorry. I am too much of a rookie to answer your question. I am sure someone else will chime in.

Wow, looks like you've got exactly the same boat as mine. Your prop should do fine if you are going to have a boat load of folks or plan on doing tubing or skiing but with proper prop and correct use of trim boat can go much faster. It is a great boat but it will take a little time behind the wheel to get the most out of it. I've had mine to 39 mph, GPS.

Got some speed results with a full boat today.
With 6 adults and 2 kids (1250 pounds), the boat could not get up on plane and the best speed was 16MPH plowing through the water like a typical pontoon boat. Ended up having to cruise at 3200 RPM which gave around 12MPH. Tried trimming it, shifting loads and no way was it gonna get up.
With 4 adults and 2 kids (915 pounds), it easily made it up on plane and still made 30MPH but it took a little longer to reach that speed.
Looks like the magic number is around a thousand pounds then it does not want to get up on plane. Regardless I am cool with its performance overall and I just thought I would pass the informationmation along. I still have not seen a faster pontoon on the lake and I have had several folks ask me, how its as fast as it is.
