That's why I love my roller trailer, no bunks or carpet to worry about plus it easy to move it back on the trailer when polishing, so I can do the whole pontoon on the trailer, that and I like the fact I'm not sitting on wet carpet after use, so less worry if I use it in brackish water.

I have done the coil cleaner to both of my pontoon boats. The first one was a painted trailer with all carpet bunks and the second a galvanized trailer with carpeted bunks in the rear only. What I did was soak the carpeted bunks down real good with water before applying the CC and then rinsed the bunks and trailer down real good when I was done. No issues at all after.
