at 5800 rpm turning a 15p enertai we are right at 28 mph with medium load and Bimini down.. it also falls flat on its face in turns. just wrote the check for a 250xs so should help ALOT![/quote]

Is there a chance you're missing the vent plugs in your prop???
There should be 3 black plugs that you can clearly see in the prop, there call PVS plugs.

I'M getting 43 WOT with 2 people and 20 gallons of fuel with my boat. Its over 22 foot long with the SHP package weighing 2650 pounds dry weight without motor. So I'm well over 3000 pounds with motor. With 4 people and full fuel 44 gallons I was 40 WOT. Motor is to low and trying a different prop.

I could have paid 4 grand more for the big block 3.4L 200 HO G2. It would have been a 50 MPH boat. But damn that's fast for a Tritoon.

28MPH?!? something is way off, granted my tritoon is only a 20' but with 8 adults totaling ~1600# weight on deck I can still do 31-32 mph (GPS) with my anemic 2.0L 140hp Suzuki, that 3.0L Merc 150 has an honest 20-25hp more and a ton more torque. Matter of fact, with my 15p prop I can still "sling" a 4 person tube with those 8 adults on deck but have to be careful I don't corner too hard and drop off plane. Going from a improperly setup 150 to a 225xs is going to  you.
