Hello from Alabama

#1 Post by rcgatlin » Tue Aug 23, 2011 10:12 am

Hello all. New to forum. We've owned a Procraft 180 Fish n Ski for a couple of years but we bought our first pontoon a couple weeks ago and love it. We pleasure boat on Tims Ford and fish on Lake Guntersville.

I also fish on the Tennessee River, but we boat for pleasure in the same place.

We just start the engine, back out of the boathouse, and drive 1/2 mile to the middle of the lake. Then, we just float for hours--only starting our engine to reposition ourselves to where we started. We can boat all night on $2.00 in gas. Who said boating had to be expensive?

Welcome to a very accommodating boating forum.
