Interesting, got links?
I wonder why it is mounted so far toward the rear? Aren't most on boats about in the middle of the craft?

Fixed the post and added a link

FWIW: I know the folks at silverwave put the tower in the back due to concerns about hanging someone with the rope who is on the back of the toon. It looks like you could put this one about anywhere you wanted.

I would think it was that far back to reduce issues with the bimini

In the near future, you’ll also be able to install an expandble bimini that suspends from the tower. It’s the perfect blend of form and funcition.

Thinking the bimini also, that's probably why the boat has a double bimini in the photo. Not too bad a price considering the painted ones from bentley cost about 600

Their other towers are under $1,500 which I do not think is too bad when you consider a decent ski bar is $500.

I could see alot of possibilities to do with this other than pull wake boarders. My first idea would be for a handicapped accessible lift. :thumbsup

I just pulled the trigger on one of these. Followed a link on their website to http://www.h2osportswarehouse.com/. They had it on sale for $859.00 plus $150 shipping. Found a link to their ebay page and found it there for $719.00 and free shipping!!!!!!

So, It should be here within a week. I'll post pics before and after install.

$859 is a steal. If I had a newer boat, I would consider one.

$859 is a steal, but getting it for $719 with free shipping is even better!

Ok. I'll play stupid. What are the two double can looking things hanging under the cross bars? They look not very aerodynamic. Some kind of elevated speaker enclosure??

Dunno if I'd drag a tuber with any tower. The amount of torque from a tube is ridiculous. I'd search the manf.'s website, but I'm completely swamped with work. My only concern with the tower is the structural integrity in the way it is attached. If I get one, I plan on attaching a plate on top and bottom of my deck, bolting thru the stringers, then attaching to tower to the plates. I plan on attaching to the fence also, to help with the sway.
