Need help with BBCode Settings PLEASE

#1 Post by Strake » Fri Jun 16, 2017 10:15 am

Can anyone please let me know how I can get my settings back so I can:

Add "Smiles"
"Bold" text

and likely all the other features. Ever since I replaced our old MacBook Pro, with a new one a month ago, I am NOT able to "bold" anything I've typed, or add any of the Smilie faces....... etc.

If I go to highlight the words I want in "bold" all I see is a .

if I want to add a Smilie face, all I see is: :biggrin2 or any of the other spelled out item,,, NOT the emoji symbol.

ANY HELP is appreciated.

Under "Options" on the left side of the screen it shows that BBCode is ON, it also shows the [img] is ON, Flash is OFF and Smiles are ON.

I have made sure under my Safari web settings that I have FLASH turned ON for all websites.

Any ideas how I can get this working again ????

thanks,

Thanks Bamby !

It was driving me nuts, as I used to be able to use Smilies, bold stuff, etc and now can't. I thought it was because I switched to a new MacBook Pro from my old one. I've probably spent 2 hours trying to get it working again .

I'd normally attach a big thumbs up Smilie here now, but here's all you'll get :thumbsup
