@steve you ever try lake alverado for the blue cat its a small lake but when you launch to the left is the damn with good crappie fishing around the catwalk and then to tge right is the shallows almost a cauldasack its great jug fishing territory. But what happened at joe pool we've been there for the past 2 saturdays and no one told us nothing

Two ski boats were tied together chilling over in what I understand was the area outside of Lynn Creek Marina, not sure if they had lights on or not but a pontoon ran into/over them.
I think just one was killed but several badly injured.
Very sad.
I often wonder if Jimmy really did crack corn, and why should I care?

No I haven't fished that lake, I have heard it was a good channel cat lake but never heard of any blue cats coming out of it.
Waxahachie is better than a lot of people think, I've gotten a 28 lb. out of there, and I know of 3 over 40 lb blue's coming out of Bardwell.

C&J, I keep my boat on Lake Ray Hubbard in Rockwall. Not too bad of a lake, but a bunch of wasted water because of areas with trees. Still plenty of room for boating and a good spot or two to throw the anchor and chill. It's just east of you down 30, maybe 30-40 minutes away. I'd like to check out Lewisville, but for the same reason I haven't. It's a little over an hour away and not a great idea to drive back after a GOOD day of 'tooning. :drink4 :drink4

I've been on Pool once on my cousin's boat. All I remember about it is when we stopped for a swim he and I both were getting nipped on by crappie!! They were trying to eat a mole on my back!
