Thanks to everyone for all the great tips I've picked up here.
I've been around boats all my life. Sailboats, ski boats v-drive and stern drive performance boats. But this is my first pontoon
Thanks to your help I have learned many helpful things, like dealing with wind at the launch ramp.
I'm having a hard time posting an avatar pic, I get it under the max size but still no go.
Tom

Thanks for the warm welcome. These forums will get me through the winter.
Our party cruiser is an '08. We only got to use it twice before winter ruined our fun. Really looking forward to getting it back on the water. We use it on the Colorado River near Lake Havasu so the end of February kicks off our long summer.
I couldn't get a pic on my avatar, I got the size well below 48 kb but it said the dimensions were too large. How do I get past that? Also I will figure out how to post pics on posts, I've done it on other sites but it's been awhile.
I look forward to getting to know everyone.
Thanks again, Tom

Thanks. Wish we could buy a new one but this one was sold new in nov. '09 and had very little use. We weren't ready to buy one cause we have another boat we wanted to sell first but we couldn't pass up this deal. Plus it came with a Honda generator, trailer and all the canvas. All those options add up.
I know most people keep there boats in slips in nice covered marinas. We don't have those out here. So I will be launching it and storing it at my place in Arizona. I'm not looking forward to those windy days at the ramp. The thread on launching is very helpful.

If you are going to launch often, best advice I can give you is to install guide ons on the trailer. PC's are light and blow around like a sail.
