Hello from Lake Chelan, WA
Hi there, my wife and I just picked up our first tritoon after selling our 19' Yamaha jet boat. We went with a 2020 Regency 250 DL3 that has a Mercury Verado 300 and so far we absolutely love it. Lake Chelan is 52 miles long, about 1 mile wide, 1400" deep at the deepest point and nestled in the mountains so it can get pretty crazy sometimes. We currently have it moored on a buoy while our lift is modified from holding a vee hull to a toon. No big plans for mods as of yet, probably get some lights along the underside of the deck, maybe a few more lights inside and some stereo upgrades, but nothing too crazy. My wife really likes the lighted cup holders but at $10 each I think I'll be installing a small blue LED in the existing ones instead, that's about $0.25 each

Welcome! That's a great upgrade. I'm sure it took you about 30 seconds to realize how much more comfortable your ride is on the tritoon than it was on that V hull, especially when the lake gets a little rough!

Sure did, unreal upgrade so far and it's only been a week or so. We are located about 12 miles from the south end of the lake on the east shore (lake runs north/south). There are 8 houses north of us on that shore and then nothing for 40 miles until a very small town at the north end that is reachable by water only. We spoke to our neighbors about a trip they made that far north and they said it was long and they were happy to be home. We said our trip there was long and we were happy to even GET home. The Yahama AR190 was scary when it got rough out and 1-3' white caps can be a norm for late afternoons. This is our view north.
