Looks good! You are getting there! Are you replacing all the wood as well?

I will consider that wiring harness.
I worked more on the decking today. all the screws are wasted. they are rusty and filled with glue. so I took out my saws all to cut the screw for the 2X4s at the edges. I then used my skill saw to cut the wood out between the cross members. next time I work on it I will be working the screws out from the bottom.

Re: 1977 playcraft p24
I converted a regular engine stand to hold the pontoon's motor.
I decided that for the first couple of nights I would leave the engine hoist hooked on just incase the wood slits or something. better safe that sorry.

Re: 1977 playcraft p24
ok while my girls were playing at a friends house I figured I would use the nice weather to do some more work on the pontoon. so I removed the motor pod
I then removed all the cross members
it was a pain because very bolt head look like this but there was nothing on the top of the bolts so they were all rusted
but I did find something that will need welding. on the left pontoon the top seam is broken and someone tried to fix it with jb weld and it was on me.

Do you get any flack from your neighbors for your "Sandford & Son's" drive way? Your photographs show nice homes in the back ground. It looks like a nice upper class neighborhood. I didn't see any other projects in their drive ways. You must have nice understanding friends for neighbors?
My neighbors would be calling the HOA, and signing zoning complains with city hall.

no HOA and it is an older neighbor hood. everyone is great and the guy right next door to me has actually helped me. everyone saw it as a actual boat. but since there is no HOA the only thing they can do is call the city and there is no bylaw about having it in my driveway. try really hard to keep it looking clean. We rent this place and I cannot wait until we can purchase a house as it will be more of a country feel were my yard will be the clean one
