What might this be?

#1 Post by Nichole76 » Tue May 25, 2021 5:24 pm

We are rebuilding a 92' SmokerCraft and in taking apart the console we found this little thing hooked up to the throttle. The console was not original and I suspect this may have been hooked up to the previous console but it was just stashed inside the console we took apart- no longer being used. Thought maybe it was a horn but not sure why a horn would be hooked up to the throttle...

It does look like some kind of horn/buzzer/sounder. I"m guessing it was part of the circuitry that sounded an alarm for overheating, low fluid, etc.
