I start at the rearport side and work forward. Then I put the 1st 2 poles in and do the front.

We have a house on Hales Ford Rd and boat is at Websters. (Right at Hales ford Bridge) You had said that you are at R32A. If I am not mistaken that would put you by land just around the corner on Horseshoe bend rd? Do ya'll live there full time? Or in area?
We go down most weekends (not this one) Full time house in Fredericksburg. Bill

I have a one year old Bennington 2275 RLIi and had trouble with the brand new Bimini cover snaps and the Bimini material tore at stress points, along with some other minor problems with the boat, and Bennington went out of their way to make everything right including sending a new Bimini cover. I think it is how your dealer is communicating to Bennington to take care of the problem. I have friends with Benningtons and they all have stories of how Bennington took care of every problem. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.

...just thought I would chime in with my experience. ;)

I was looking at a new Bennington last weekend and when the dealer went out with me to pull the cover, I broke 2 off and he broke 1...said easiest to turn them remove them, which worked okay, but I still ended up breaking another...breaking the snap off from the material.

Had my last Benny for 4 seasons and trailer it everywhere with the cover on and never had a single snap issue with the cover on ours.

Floater boter.... you are a riot.... I actually suggested that name for our boat when we bought it last year... wife said no way... go figure.... back to the snaps issue... have had my benny for about a year, so far ( knock on wood ----- float boter, I know what your thinking ) no snap issues and yes, we have trailered the boat with the cover on several times.

I have seen a little forked plastic tool for popping snaps off that is supposed to be easier on them than just grabbing the cover and yanking.
