Fathers Day Presents????

#1 Post by rbiederwolf » Sat Jun 16, 2012 7:32 pm

Anybody getting anything exciting???????

I have ordered a third log for my toon. Hope it will be here soon to get it installed.

Going down to the keys in July and I am hoping to have it installed and sea tested by then. If the old engine does not get some better performance I want to have time to kick up to a bigger motor before the trip.

I am hoping for a "ah-ooga" horn to replace the sissy little buzzer sounding horn on the boat. Nobady paid any attention the multiple times I brought it up so I am not holding my breath!

My wife and 3 year old bought me a new cast net so I can catch some bait.

The other day my little guy gave me the best father's day gift ever...He said, "Daddy can we go fishing?"

My wife and son gave me a new stereo system for the boat. If it wasn't raining today I would start installing it.

I got the best Father's Day present yesterday, and it was quite exciting.

My 4 1/2 year old grandson drove me around the lake for 2 hours on our Waverunner. It was frightening. He decided to let off the throttle at 43 mph. We'd stop about every 10 minutes and just talk.

Cayden's already done so much in his young years, and he's the fifth generation to enjoy our lake house. I'm so fortunate that he's a Lake Kid--just like his mother.

Mostly for stability and better ability to take big wakes. Where I boat there are alot of big boats running fast, thus I am hoping the third toon will allow me to take bigger wakes without swamping the toon. Also with the third toon, the manf is re rating the toon up to a 225. I am hoping to put a 150 on it. I think I will hit high 30's mph with the larger motor.

It will be a full tube with transom built by the manf. It will be identical to a tritoon built by the manf.
