Looking at a 2009 boat listed as a 3 Toon....the center toon is set back from the outer toons. Is this something that is normal? Did someone add after the fact? It's a 2009
Thanks'

The center toon on ours is set back a bit. If it wasn’t; you’d not be able to winch the front edge all the way up to the stops on the trailer.

Sounds as if someone added a third toon to a two toon boat. Are you sure it's 28', as we seldom see pontoon boats that long?
How does the boat perform? Does the center toon get your nosecones out of the water? That's where lifting strakes come into play--to lift the nosecones out of the water for increased speed and efficiency.

I have a friend with a 31 foot tri-toon. It’s 10 1/2 feet wide, has twin 250’s, and more gadgets than a new car! It has a joy stick, and the damn thing can go sideways to dock.

That's not a toon -- that's a cruise ship!

I actually misspoke about Brian’s boat; it has twin 200’s, not twin 250’s.
We met up with the kids, grandkids, and a few friends at out favorite hang-out spot in th4 Gulf near an island yesterday.
Here’s Brian’s big tri-toon, with my son’s 23 foot tri-toon tied up behind his:

Here’re a couple more pics I took from our tri-toon that afternoon:

That's why Party Huts are awesome. 115 Honda 4S, 22mph empty, 18mph loaded....no speed demon, but comfy.
