Torque be the difference.Ghost Rider wrote:Bass Frequency says he can out run a 4 stroke 90 with his two stroke 60. Horse Power is horse power so how can that be. I know that when you compare CC'S the four strokes are much larger to make the same amount of horse power. But 90 horse is 90 horse. Am I missing something here.
Are you using a aluminum prop, the reason I am asking is I just replaced my aluminum with a composite from piranha props, stayed basically the same dia and pitch but the piranha increased my rpm.s and speed, you might have the same result.dinbody wrote:I have a 2005 suncrusier 22' 90 hp 4 stroke honda prop is 14 x 13 p. Tis true. And with some builders, weight is becoming less and less of a factor lately. The current difference between Yamaha's 90hp 4 stroke and Evinrude's E-tech is now only about 50 lbs, depending on which publication you read. But even 50 lbs can make a difference.Heatman wrote:Parasympathetic wrote:Torque be the difference.Ghost Rider wrote:Bass Frequency says he can out run a 4 stroke 90 with his two stroke 60.
