What is a good deal???

It seems lately that since this site has been growing faster and faster a common question is, “Am I getting a good deal?”. How about a new forum where we can all go to post how much we paid for our boats. Information such as; New or Used, Boat Year, boat manufacturer, boat model, engine year, engine manufacturer, engine model and size, trailer year, trailer manufacturer, trailer model, Month and year purchased, purchase price excluding tax, tag and registration, dealer purchased from to include address.
This would serve as a very interesting database that would never fly at the PDB site given that they are in the pocket of the manufacturers.

It's a good idea, but it needs to be pretty organized to have meaning. To be most useful we would need to know the information you originally asked for, plus WHEN you bought it. Was it 1 year old, new, 10 years old, etc. So, purchase date (approximate) would be useful. For example, Curtiscapk shared that info and it ads value, IMO to the post.

NADA is good for 2010 and older boat pricing. I'm not sure about NEW 2011 pricing though.

2005 Fiesta Fish n' Fun
2004 Yamaha 50 HP 2 stroke
2004 Trailer

$7000

I sold the trailer back to the seller for $500 plus he deliverd the boat. I used the money for tax, title, and registration.
I wish I had the trailer, but I don't have a place to store it...and I drive a Prius (just kidding, but I don't have a tow vehicle)
