Considering trading in the 1 year old SouthBay on this.

So the budget changed for my boating addiction...considering trading the South Bay in on this...Thoughts or other recommendations in the $70-90K range?

Awesome. I haven't priced any new toons, but if you are trading you might be able to get a better trade value if you stay with the South Bay. And the new Super Sport sure looks a lot like the Harris...

I definitely want a bar on the boat as we have one now and love it. None of the Super sport South Bay models come with a bar dang it.

Just look at the Bennington Q series tritoons with the optional Sport Tower/Arch.

Wow, that Harris is drop dead gorgeous, but I agree with Bama.... i would at least look at the Q series Benningtons..... gotta ask though, you've got a great boat now.. only a year old, why trade?

That question brings to mind an old story.... Many years ago, I left Virginia, and moved to North Carolina for college. I started college as a 30 yr old freshman. I was newly divorced, and the dating pool was filled with 18-22 yr old college girls. One of my prior, older, female co-workers asked one of my other friends, "Why does Mark date those 20 year old girls?"

The answer, "Because he can."

Hey, if I had the funds to swap out and trade up for bigger, better, faster, sleeker, hotter... I'd get a new one too...




A new boat, that is... I've already got the better, sleeker, hotter wife....

These Stancraft versions are very custom so I imagine they could configure a bar version.

I was on the Harris last week at the boat show. The thing is unreal. Awesome boat.

Called and got some pricing on the Bennington Stancraft...

$135K with a 8.2L I/O. Not happening

However i could rig the Harris with a 300 Verado for about $85K. I cant wait to walk through it at the boat show in Tulsa next week.

On another note, my South Bay was broke into where I store it and the in dash GPS and Stereo are gone. The mother destroyed the helm in the process.

God Bless good insurance. Its already in the shop to have the helm and everything replaced and should only be out a few weeks. The bright side is the sorry SOB's did in in January and not July.
