Mine is standard CREW (cold rolled electronically welded) tubing.

The outside tube is
1.5" OD .125" wall
The inner/sleeve tube is
1.25" OD .125" wall

I hammered that thing into the first tube. Spot welded it. And then hammered the other side onto the sleeve/stub.

Then I postioned the pull ring right in the middle of the weld section.

FWIW. I used a 25ft Bennington that had a collapsible ski pole.

Life has been busy. And the winter as you know has been long and cold.

So I was working at my power plant the other day and happened to walk by a flat cart that looked something along the lines of these.

Could it really be THAT easy? :nana
A little research revealed that these handles come in all materials, strengths, widths, tube sizes and are likely available seperately as repair parts (at least for the heavy duty industrial carts).
I mean holy crap folks. Could it REALLY be that easy?
I may have stumbled upon the simple source for tow bars for countless tooners!
