Your boat is really a beauty. I love the raised helm and dashboard.
But I guess nobody warned you about shopping for a pontoon/tritoon. If you're lucky, you're going to always spend 110% more than your budget.
But when you take a wife and especially the kids to look--the budget automatically is out the door.
I took my wife to the Boat Show, and she was immediately drawn to Bennington's display. Little did I know that my old boat's lower unit was toast, and we spent Memorial Day sitting at home watching the boats go by. My wife wasn't going to spend July 4th off the water, and it was her decision which hull and motor we were going to buy. We were right with you on the amount spent.

Save a couple of bucks and delete the carpet. I've got the plain vinyl floor in mine and it is great. Couple buckets of water and a brush and you're good to go.
You will have a nice toon there! I was lucky in taking my wife. All she wanted was the upgraded dining table.

I'll admit I'm a "Newbie" but I agree with this.zoom650 wrote:Save a couple of bucks and delete the carpet. I've got the plain vinyl floor in mine and it is great. Couple buckets of water and a brush and you're good to go.

Took family fishing last weekend. Mud, Blood, Bait that got spilled, All cleaned up easy off the vinyl flooring.
As for what you spent and what you're getting?
Lots of folks here can speak better about that than I can, however I have an opinion on buying stuff.
Can you afford it?
Did you and your wife agree to it?
If so, then it's your money, spend it as you want.

Deposit is down and delivery next Friday!!!!
Now have to figure out the finances....8 year loan, 10 year, 12 year, how much to put down, etc?
We will only hold this for 3-5 years so I think we will stretch the loan out over 12 years but put a large sum down to keep the payments low.
Insurance is set already through BoatUS. $261 for the advanced policy or $189 for the budget
