With the beautiful weather here at Smith Mountain Lake this week, couldn't miss the opportunity to take our new boat for a couple hour ride...... can't wait for spring and being able to do this more often !

What kind of floor is that? I really like the look.

thanks !
The floor was an option when we ordered the boat..... it's their "fake teak vinyl " ........ called "weathered gray". We really like it so far..... only got the boat mid November and immediately took it to our boat house lift. Since it has been especially beautiful here this week, and hit 60 degrees... decided to drop it in. The hour meter is now up to a whopping 3.9 hours
The vinyl has a textured surface, so I don't expect it to be slippery when wet. Only disappointing thing is the hatch door in the floor, for in floor storage is just molded brown/gray plastic, and doesn't have the "fake teak" vinyl on it. I've asked the dealer to get me a piece of the vinyl from Berkshire and I'll try to glue it down in place, cut to the exact size. The hatch door has to be replaced under warranty anyways as it has a large deep scratch across it so since they are getting me a new hatch door, I thought nothing lost to try and glue down the fake teak vinyl to the scratched door.
Here's another pic of the flooring....

Strake, looks good! I am getting ready for spring too. Can't wait! I would bet you were just about by yourselves this early in the year.
I like the floor also. I did not even think about that if it was even offered in 2010 on our Benny. If I had known about it I would have gotten that instead of carpet. Bill

Nice looking boat! We got our first toon late last year and already enjoyed numerous hours of great family time. My dad always told me, buy the right toys and the kids will stay close to you. Seems it worked, both boys are doing great.

Thanks Luke !!!
We're at South Pointe Condo's...... part of the "Waterfront"...... R25. I know exactly where Mountain View Shores is, as we rented an AWESOME home (Mountain Majesty) on Capewood Dr 5 years ago for a week (see picture below) that got us all excited about SML.... We've been at the lake 5 years now. I just retired a month ago, so we're now able to go for much longer periods of time.
